Tom de Paor was born in London 1967 and graduated from the School of Architecture at University College Dublin in 1991. He has since taught at a variety of schools in Ireland and England and lectured widely internationally. He has received various national and international acknowledgements for his built work, both private and public. He represented Ireland at the Venice Biennale of 2000, 2006 and 2008. In 2010 he co-curated the Irish Pavilion and made a pavilion for the Biennale International exhibition. Publications include N3, Circle Book, Reservoir and ‘Of’ with ‘previous, next’ in preparation.
